Franco momument now part of a rubbish dump in Ceuta

As debate continues across the country about descargar juegos pc gratis the government’s new Historical Memory Law, and its requirement to remove all references and monuments to Franco across the country, comes the news from the Spanish north African enclave of Ceuta, that the most important Franco monument in the city has now become the city’s rubbish dump, and the scene for the youngsters’ weekend botellón.

The Llano Amarillo monument, a tall obelisk, is totally abandoned, but despite the deterioration the shield symbols of the Falange and Imperial Eagle remain.

The Government says that such monuments do not need to be destroyed, simply all references glorifying Franco removed.
